Support Lake Sunapee Rowing Club
Lake Sunapee Rowing Club (LSRC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rowing opportunities to all members of the community surrounding Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire.
Funding for Lake Sunapee Rowing Club comes from member fees, tax-deductible donations, and fundraising activities. We need your partnership in this endeavor. Please help us support rowing in the Lake Sunapee region with your tax-deductible donation. Our long-term goals include eventually building a boathouse with private and club boat storage, community rooms, and winter training facilities.
In the near term, among the items most desparately needed are:
- trailer for hauling 60' shells
- floating dock
- repairs/upgrades to existing shells
- purchase of oars
- purchase of gently used shells
Although funds to purchase and repair equipment is a significant need, we also encourage support in terms of volunteer labor and gifts-in-kind. The need for volunteers varies throughout the year, but includes everything from hauling trailers to cleaning docks. Gifts in-kind could range anywhere from donations of athletic tape to a boat slip for the coaches launch.
Here's just a few ideas of where help is needed:
- Volunteer to haul a trailer with your truck
- Volunteer to help scrub & powerwash a dock in the spring
- Donate a boatslip on Lake Sunapee for the coaches launch
- Donate your services such as artwork, grant writing, or advertising space
- Donate tools (wrenches, etc) and marine-grade hardware (nuts, washers, etc) for boat rigging

The excitement and enthusiasm is building as community support of this rowing venture swells, including the New London Recreation Department, the Sunapee Recreation Department, the New England Handicapped Sports Association, St. Paul's School, and members of the Upper Valley Rowing Foundation, among others. But we can't succeed without your help!
